Armstrong Equine Service is a family-owned and operated horse farm specializing in quality horse breeding, professional training, and top-tier Quarter Horses for sale. Managed by Joe and Rusty, with Ed as Assistant Manager, the farm is dedicated to breeding excellence, ranching, and backcountry horse packing.

Josh leads the training program, offering horse breaking, training, showing, and event-specific coaching, including private instruction and international clinics. Criss, a former all-around horse show winner, and her husband Monty reside in Lubbock, TX. With a deep-rooted passion for horses, the Armstrong family remains committed to horsemanship at every level.

About Josh

Josh Armstrong has traveled the world training horses and coaching riders to success in high-level performance competitions. His expertise has helped riders achieve Top 10 finishes at the Quarter Horse World Championships, the NRHA Futurity, the European Championships, and the All-American Quarter Horse Congress—the world’s largest horse show. Josh himself has earned multiple titles, including European National Champion Reiner and victories in bridle-less freestyle reining competitions.

With a background in horse breaking, training, and showing, Josh offers a structured training program that helps both horses and riders excel. He provides event-specific training, private lessons, and national and international clinics, ensuring that riders of all levels have the guidance they need to improve their skills and confidence.
